Third-Party Code of Conduct

 

1. Purpose

 

Steinsvik Olivine AS is committed to conducting its business in a responsible, sustainable, and ethical manner. We expect our suppliers, subcontractors, agents, and other business partners (“third parties”) to share these principles. This Code of Conduct (CoC) describes our requirements and expectations for third parties who cooperate with us.

 

2. Third parties shall at all times:

  • Comply with applicable national and international laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Observe all relevant regulations related to labor, environment, health, safety, and competition law.
  • Respect internationally recognized human rights.

3. Working conditions and human rights


Steinsvik Olivine AS expects third parties to:

  • Safeguard workers’ rights, including the right to fair wages, regulated working hours, and rest.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and non-discriminatory working environment.
  • Not use child labor, forced labor, or other unethical labor practices.
  • Respect the right to freedom of association and to participate in collective bargaining.

 

4. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)


We place strong emphasis on responsible use of resources and environmental protection. Therefore, we require third parties to:

  • Actively work to reduce emissions, waste, and other environmental impacts.
  • Safeguard the safety of employees and local communities through clear HSE procedures.
  • Comply with all environmental requirements related to mineral extraction, transport, and processing.

 

5. Ethics and integrity


Third parties shall:

  • Conduct business in a fair and transparent manner.
  • Refrain from corruption, bribery, improper advantages, or conflicts of interest.
  • Ensure that all information provided to Steinsvik Olivine AS is accurate and reliable.

 

6. Supply chain


We expect third parties to impose similar requirements on their own suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring responsible practices throughout the entire value chain.

 

7. Monitoring and compliance


Steinsvik Olivine AS reserves the right to carry out audits or inspections of third parties.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in corrective actions, including termination of the cooperation.

 

8. Commitment


By entering into cooperation with Steinsvik Olivine AS, third parties confirm that they have read, understood, and will comply with this Code of Conduct.
